Drumbo

Location:  Oxford County     N 43 14.138  W 80 33.072
In front of the Blenheim District Public School on Mechanic Street, just east of Wilmot Street S.

This memorial was unveiled in 1920, by the local village of Drumbo, dedicated to the war dead of the First World War.  Later the names of the dead from the Second World War were also engraved in the stone shaft.  The Korean War is also acknowledged.
A traditional statue of a Great War soldier standing at ease rests on top of the granite shaft.  Another fitting tribute of a small community to honour the brave men who fought and died for peace.
