New National LAV III Monument Program in Canada

I received this e-mail and would like to pass it on to anyone who may be interested in this program for your community.  This may be a great opportunity to add to your town's cenotaph and to honour those who fought in Afghanistan.  I have no connection with this organization, I'm just passing it on to anyone who may wish to find out more:

I have just discovered your blog page and I found it to be both intriguing and well connected to the new War Monument program now underway in Canada led by employer Canada Company. Therefore, I thought that I would introduce you to the program as it may be of interest to you in your future travels.
Our program goal seeks to place up to 250 replica Light Armoured Vehicles (LAV) III’s as monuments across Canada. The LAV III was used extensively in Afghanistan and has been selected to commemorate our Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) who participate in the 12 year long Afghanistan mission. Furthermore, these monuments will especially memorialize the 158 Fallen Soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice during this conflict.
The program is supported by the Government of Canada and the CAF. It was officially launched on November 5, 2014 at the National War Museum, in Ottawa, and will be re-launched in early May 2015  when we expect to also announce the name of the first community to receive delivery.
Community applications are currently being submitted on our website which is attached below for your reference.
Feel free to share this news during your travels to any community who may wish to bring one of these monument to their communities.
If you have any question then please don’t hesitate to ask.
